Sound familiar?

Shopify admin growing faster than your margins?

The bigger your Shopify store gets, the more the bookkeeping resists being ignored. Payouts that do not match bank deposits, a VAT threshold moving closer than you realised, and a tax return due with records that need serious work. None of it is insurmountable — it just takes longer the more you leave it.

  • Hours lost trying to match Shopify payouts against your bank account
  • No clear picture of your tax position until the bill is almost due
  • VAT threshold creeping closer with no one monitoring it

What sorted looks like

Shopify transactions reconciled monthly so the records are always current. Your tax liability visible throughout the year, not just when the deadline appears. VAT monitored, filed on time and MTD compliant as standard.

  • Shopify and bank reconciled every month — no backlog building up
  • Tax position visible well before HMRC asks for payment
  • VAT threshold monitored — no registration obligation you were not expecting
  • A fixed monthly cost that does not move regardless of how many questions you ask

Why Swift

Why Shopify sellers choose Swift

There is no shortage of accountants. Here is what is different about working with one who already understands how Shopify businesses are structured.

🛍️

No explaining how Shopify works

Shopify payouts, payment gateway charges, refund reconciliation, cross-border VAT — you will not need to spend the first call explaining your business before getting a useful answer. We work with eCommerce sellers every day. Ask a question, get an answer.

💬

Replies the same day

Questions get answered the day you ask them. Not logged, not queued, not passed to a junior. If you want to know whether a Shopify app subscription is deductible, you will know before the end of the day.

🔒

One price, clearly agreed

Your monthly fee is fixed and does not move. No hourly billing, no invoice that arrives larger than expected, no charge for asking questions. Your accounting costs are as predictable as your other fixed overheads.

Getting started

Up and running in four steps

Four steps from enquiry to everything being handled. No complicated onboarding, no forms that take a week to complete.

1

Send your enquiry

Fill in the form on this page. Kieran reads every enquiry and responds the same day with a clear next step. No automated holding messages.

2

A short discovery call

Twenty minutes to understand your Shopify setup, current software and what needs sorting. By the end of the call you will know exactly what is covered and what it costs — no vague proposals sent three days later.

3

We handle the setup

Xero is connected to your Shopify store, your records are brought up to date and everything is configured correctly. You do not need to do anything except confirm you want to proceed.

4

Ongoing — nothing falls through

Monthly bookkeeping, quarterly VAT, annual accounts and corporation tax — handled as a matter of course. Your tax position is visible well before it becomes urgent. Surprises are largely avoidable when the books are current.

Questions

Questions Shopify sellers usually ask first

Yes — you will not need to explain how Shopify pays out before getting a useful answer. Payment gateway fees, order refunds, currency conversion charges and Shopify Payments settlements are all categorised correctly. It is not unusual complexity for us.
Once your books are current, your tax liability becomes visible throughout the year rather than just at the end of it. Most clients have a reasonable idea of what they owe three to four months before it is due — long enough to plan, not just react.
It is why most people come to us. Getting up to date takes a little longer at the start and may cost slightly more — we will tell you upfront before any work begins. Once current, keeping it current is straightforward.
No. Month-to-month, cancel with a month’s notice. We would rather keep clients because the service is worth it than because leaving is inconvenient.
